Hi there,
Unless posting to the list is knackered, I'm surprised no-one has
spooled the news off the Register that Motorola have developed a
1.6Ghz G5 CPU.
Fully 64 bit, pipeline isn't much longer than G4 and they seem to be
interested in making desktop versions (i.e. the high clock frequecy
ones so Apple can convince the Mhz-morons that a PPC is as fast as a
x86).
